Get on board for a quite incredible new lap record at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. On June 29, 2018 German racing driver Timo Bernhard piloted a Porsche 919 Hybrid Evo around the circuit in an astounding 5:19.546 minutes. The lap smashed the previous Nordschleife record by 52 seconds, a lap time set in a Porche 956 by fellow German racing driver, Stefan Bellof in 1983. The incredible 919 Hybrid Evo was fitted with specially developed tires from Michelin, but no mechanical or electronic driving dynamics control systems were used
