The dynamics team at Hyundai Australia have gone quite mad, turning an inoffensive iMax people carrier into the iMax N ‘Drift Bus’. The regular 2.5-litre CRDi engine has been replaced with a monster 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6, pumping out over 300kW of power and 555Nm of torque. They have also fitted an eight-speed automatic gearbox, connected to a corner carving differential that helps transfer the brawn to the rear wheels. The suspension features electronically controlled dampers, while the brakes are upgraded N performance units and the 19in alloy wheels are borrowed from the i30 N. The bus has perfect 50-50 weight distribution with eight people on-board, and even better – an 842 litre boot
