The 2020 Mini John Cooper Works GP is completing set-up runs on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife as part of its series development process. The model is a limited edition of 3,000 units, featuring increased engine power, model-specific suspension technology, and weight-optimised construction. The predecessor model set a benchmark lap time of 8:23 minutes. The prototype of the new Works GP went round in less than eight minutes – and its testing programme is not yet over
