Data logging specialist, Kistler, has unveiled its new 100 Hz GPS data logger. The Corrsys-Datron branded CDS-GPS model is a high-performance data logger with internal GPS for vehicle dynamic testing applications.
The in-house developed unit uses CANBus to emit the uprated 100 Hz frequency and is capable of measuring: absolute speed, travelled distance, latitudinal and longitudinal position, height, time and date and system status information. As a result, the system boasts measurement accuracy of 0.1km/h and a resolution of 0.01km/h.
The CDS-GPS also features preinstalled, predefined driving manoeuvres for the use in longitudinal dynamic measurements. The CDS-GPS can be combined with Kistler’s extensive range of sensors and instrumentation for use within extended transversal vehicle dynamics testing scenarios.
