Mechanical Simulation Corporation has released the 2022.0 versions of its VehicleSim software products: CarSim, TruckSim, BikeSim, and the SuspensionSim suspension simulation tool.
This release adds more hybrid and electric powertrain configurations, an option for putting a powertrain on a trailing unit, more options for trailer hitch joints, and other improvements in the VS Math Models. There are also updates to the GUI Browser, VS Visualizer and support of third-party software.
The company says the new features in VehicleSim 2022.0 improve the experience for engineers developing Autonomous Driving (AD), Advance Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), vehicle electrification, vehicle dynamics, multi-vehicle simulations and High-Performance Computing (HPC) applications.
