Mechanical Simulation Corporation has released 2021.1 versions of its CarSim, TruckSim and BikeSim vehicle simulation tools. One of the main new features of 2021.1 is that it allows the user to build a database covering examples showing only features of interest.
The Database Builder has six different data groups to choose from: Minimal, Basic ADAS, Basic Vehicle Dynamics, Standard ADAS, Standard Vehicle Dynamics, and Full. This feature enables users to quickly build databases with examples suited for either new or experienced users, in fields of ADAS, vehicle dynamics or both. The Database Builder also allows databases to be built with a selection of additional examples that use optional, specialised features, such as trailers, sensors, a desktop driving simulator, real-time systems, and external tyre models.
