Adjustable suspension expert, Koni Shock Absorbers, has launched a Special Active damper product line, which takes the latest generation of its Frequency Selective Damping Technology (an active technology) and integrates it into Koni Special dampers. The result, according to the company, is active dampers that recognize and react to road conditions and driving style, to optimize road holding, handling, stability and comfort.
Koni offers the technology as a lower-priced alternative to electronic ride control systems, which also has the benefit of being retrofittable to vehicles.
