Randle Engineering, a UK-based automotive consultancy, has launched a public training course titled ‘Vehicle and Suspension Systems Engineering: A Course for Engineers, by Engineers’. Randle usually delivers private training courses directly to OEM suspension and vehicle dynamics teams, but this new technical course is designed for professionals seeking to further their understanding of the complex engineering principles behind vehicle dynamics.
The Vehicle and Suspension Systems Engineering course consists of five in-depth taught lectures, supported by hands-on exercises to reinforce key concepts. Topics covered include the theory of suspension geometry, such as modelling and design considerations, double-wishbone suspension design and analysis, and a range of specific ride and handling analyses for implementation into the vehicle development process.
The course will cater to engineers with various levels of experience, providing both theoretical knowledge and practical tools that can be directly applied to live engineering projects. The exercises, ranging from simple demonstrations to the use of advanced analysis tools, are curated to enhance participants’ skills through real-world demonstrations.
With this new course, Randle Engineering aims to empower engineering professionals with the knowledge and expertise needed to navigate the complexities of suspension design and vehicle dynamics. As the automotive industry continues to evolve, there is a strong need for highly skilled engineers with a strong understanding of these systems. This course provides an opportunity to acquire advanced skills and insight into the development workflow used by experts who have practical, real-world experience in developing suspension systems for the global automotive community.
The course is now taking bookings for the first cohort, taking place on 25th March 2025. For a limited time, a discount of 15% will be offered by using the code EARLYBOOKING – the code expires on 31st January 2025
