Bentley Motors has opened a new research and development center at its headquarters in Crewe, UK. The new building covers 7,200 square metres over four storys and was constructed in just seven months. According to Bentley the building marks the first stage of its headquarters expansion, which will continue with the aim of developing the site as an industry-leading and efficient manufacturing facility.
A special guest attended the opening, no less than Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal. Commenting on the visit, Wolfgang Dürheimer, Bentley’s chairman and CEO, said, “Our research and development center, 25 Pyms Lane, is where a new generation of Bentleys will be developed, which will continue our commitment to luxury, performance, quality and engineering excellence.
