UK-based quality management consultancy, G&P, has expanded its Far East client base with a new Tier 1 automotive supplier. The client has not been named, with G&P says that, as part of the agreement, G&P personnel, including laboratory assistants and support technicians focusing on areas such as chassis, braking and steering systems, are being deployed in three plants across China. These staff will be responsible for technical inspection, reworking and testing to ensure manufacturing standards are maintained within the client’s operating facility and supply chain.
G&P’s new client produces a range of mechanical, electrical and technologically advanced systems for passenger cars, including petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric vehicles, as well as trucks, buses and motorcycles, among other industrial applications.
