Dynisma, a developer of motion simulation technology for the motorsport and automotive industries, has announced the appointment of Graeme Cook as its new chief executive officer. Cook has leadership experience spanning the automotive, aerospace, oil and energy sectors, and is tasked with guiding the company through its next phase of growth.
His arrival will enable Dynisma’s founder, CEO & chief engineer, Ash Warne, to transition to the role of founder & chief technology officer (CTO), fully focusing on furthering the innovation and technology development of the company’s simulation technologies.
Cook’s key objectives will be to continue to scale Dynisma’s operations and expand its global presence. His appointment signals a new phase of growth for Dynisma in the automotive and motorsport markets, and its plans to sell its motion generator simulators to new industries.
According to Dynisma, the company is experiencing rapid growth, having created more than 50 new jobs in 2024 to meet the market demand for its simulators, with a strong order book for 2025 and beyond. Key customers of the company include multiple Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula E, World Endurance Championship, and International Motorsport Association (IMSA) teams, as well as a growing number of global automotive OEMs.
Cook’s career includes roles at YASA, a leader in electric motor technology, where he served as managing director and played a role in advancing the company’s innovation and market presence. Prior to YASA, he held key leadership positions at Avid Technologies, an automotive and off-highway vehicle electrification company, where he brought in new business processes and operational competencies, achieving VDA Standards approval, and enhancing resilience to support customer contracts and expand commercial potential.
