Dynisma, the UK-based motion simulator technology company, has entered The Sunday Times Top 100 Tech list, a rating which recognises the innovation and rapid growth of independent, privately-owned, UK headquartered businesses. Dynisma has been ranked in 21st place in the hardware category, and is the only automotive technology business in the Top 100. The company was also ranked in last year’s Top 100 Tech list.
Dynisma’s ranking has been based on the company securing £12.1m of simulator sales and growth of 79.4% in FY23 – and the business expects to see significant growth again in FY24.
The company, founded in 2017 by experienced F1 driving simulator engineer, Ash Warne, has sold simulators for installation at automotive companies and motorsport teams around the world, including McLaren Automotive. Dynisma uses proprietary technology in its low-latency, high-bandwidth, large-excursion simulators (Dynisma Motion Generators, or DMGs), which are developed and manufactured in-house by an expert team of more than 100 professionals.
As part of its ongoing expansion, Dynisma opened a state-of-the-art 20,000 sq ft campus in Bristol in 2023, where simulators are designed, developed, engineered, and demonstrated to potential clients.
Graeme Cook, CEO of Dynisma, said of the listing: “I’m thrilled Dynisma has been ranked in The Sunday Times 100 Tech, recognised as one of Britain’s fastest-growing high-tech companies, placing 21st in the hardware category. This achievement reflects the incredible efforts of our team, who have created transformative technology for the automotive and motorsport industries, driving strong global growth. However, we’re far from finished – our ambitious plans for the future promise even greater advancements and expansion.”
