China-based automotive supplier, CITIC Dicastal, is planning to reveal several lightweight components at AMEE 2020 (the Shanghai International Automotive Chassis System & Manufacturing Engineering technology Expo). At the event, taking place on October 26th – 28th, the company plans to exhibit lightweight chassis systems, differential pressure-cast aluminium alloy knuckles and control arms, high-pressure cast cylinder head covers, transmission housings, extruded aluminium welded anti-collision beams, a NEV battery case shell, and other lightweight solutions for Chinese and global automotive OEMs. CITIC Dicastal’s range also includes powertrain components, subframes, bodies, cross members and node elements.
CITIC Dicastal is perhaps best known as being one of the biggest aluminium wheels and aluminium chassis automotive parts suppliers in the world, and is the 65th-largest company in the Global Top 100 automotive auto-part manufacturers rankings.
